hio lawmakers managed to approve a new finance law last year under a court-imposed deadline. But legislators admit the plan doesn't go as far as it could. Although it boosts spending in low-income districts, lawmakers say there will be more fixes in years to come. Ohio is releasing its second trial round of school report cards this year, but it has yet to implement tougher forms of accountability for school performance.
